The Professionals

This iconic 1970s-1980s action series stars Lewis Collins (William Bodie) and Martin Shaw (Ray Doyle) as chalk-and-cheese secret service agents (CI5) who tackle high-profile crimes, resulting in explosive action.

 

Collins plays the ex-SAS Bodie, and Shaw his more liberal partner Doyle. Gordon Jackson is their surly boss George Cowley.

 

The cult show is loved for its fights, women, and car chases (Ford Capri). However it is Bodie and Doyle, in their leather jackets and wing-collared shirts, who live long in the memory.
